August 2020 marks another milestone and the end of a 2+ year endeavor. I will have graduated again, this time officially completing my masters degree, an MBA. Since 2017, when I decided to pursue this degree, I have taken on numerous life changes involving companies, positions and levels of responsibility, and living situations and locations. I moved 7 times (coast-to-coast), worked for three major corporations, and took on 9 promotions or different roles.

20 years ago if you had told me I would graduate from college 3 times, let alone once, I would have told you that you were crazy. If you would have told me I would constantly be moving and heading into the unknown, I wouldn’t have believed you. But, if you told me that I would constantly push and challenge myself and seek out continuous learning and improvement, that I would have believed. Striving for your own personal excellence and constantly struggle to inch forward, what ever forward may mean for you, is key. And can unlock some of the secrets of life. Constantly living in the trenches of challenges sometimes is the best place to be. And after so long it becomes home. Growth? Maybe. But one thing is for sure, all I know is winning, even if I have to lose from time to time.
